Annah came back to Rochester to see me since I had been feeling ill since Sunday night. We had Goulash (not truly "goulash", but that's what we call it... it has canned tomatoes, hamburger, onions, macaroni pasta, etc) with crackers, olives, and pepperoncini (which Annah found out she doesn't like too much!)
We also had a discussion about how I hold my spoon incorrectly, and my dad hadn't really noticed it before, so everyone was amused by my brutish technique. Therefore, it is my goal to hold my spoon correctly, even if the contents that I'm eating are too heavy. I'm not sure when exactly I started holding my spoon incorrectly, but perhaps I've been doing that my whole life. I'm happy that it has been brought to my attention though since I will be able to look more sophisticated and normal by holding my spoon correctly.
We also went to Prairie Walls rock climbing wall so that Annah could pick up her money and w-2. We visited for a while with some of her friends and had a delightful time.
We then randomly drove to Home Depot and bought a lovely little African Violet (Saintpaulia ionantha and worked very diligently to keep it warm so that it didn't freeze in the arctic freeze outside. I also bought a little container with seeds to grow alfalfa and mung bean sprouts in for sandwiches and stuff. Woot.
Following our excursions, we came back home and intermittently checked on the status of the Lunar Eclipse that took place. It was cool to see it with Annah. It could have been a little warmer though, but there will be more eclipses in the future. Yay!
Overall, it was a wonderful Wednesday night that we got to spend with each other!
